PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (Sept. 1, 2014-MPF News)
--– The P12 million rehabilitation project of Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial
Hospital is now 80 percent complete and will expect to be completed on the
first week of October, Provincial Official said.
Zamboanga Sibugay Information Officer Roel Paloma said
Monday the P12 million rehabilitation projects was funded by the Health
Facility Enhancement Program of the Department of Health (DOH) Region-9 was
started in February this year and the scope of the rehabilitation includes
almost the entire hospital.
Paloma said the provincial hospital is only authorized
bed capacity (ABC) for 25 patients but serving up to more than 100 patients.
Due to the ongoing rehabilitation project that provides more comfortable and
biggest area some patients were transferred to the finished wards.
Paloma added that more patients now attending than before
and mostly patient’s serves are the members of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino
Program (4Ps) beneficiaries and Philippine Health Insurance Corporation
(PhilHealth) members.

including three Obstetrician Gynecologists with 200 personnel to include
contractual and job orders employees
