State-of-the-art fitness gym opens in Lanao del Norte sports complex

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur, Dec. 20 (PNA) -– The Mindanao Civic Center (MCC) sports complex in Tubod, Lanao del Norte, is now equipped with a state-of-the-art fitness gym, an official announced Saturday.

Lyndon Calica, Lanao del Norte Provincial Information Officer and MCC Fitness Gym Club, Inc. (MFGCI) president, said the state-of-the-art gymnasium was inaugurated and opened Wednesday.

Calica said the fitness gym will cater not only to the club members but to include athletes and persons undergoing physical rehabilitation.

The one-time gym membership fee is P1,000 with P500 monthly due. The fee for non-club members is P100 per session.

Calica said the fitness gym is located at the ground floor of MCC grandstand and is among the support facilities of the sports complex.

Calica said MFGCI is a public-private partnership organization aimed to promote living a healthy lifestyle.

He said that all gym equipment are certified and manufactured by U.S. training equipment makers. The gym also has qualified fitness instructors.

The gym is open from Monday until Saturday from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. (PNA)
