ZAMBOANGA
CITY (February 14, 2018) - Police operatives of Zamboanga City Police
Station 4 (Culianan) in coordination with the Zamboanga City Police Station 11
(Central) conducted manhunt operation against wanted person along La Purisima
Street, Zamboanga City particularly at the vicinity of Mang Inasal Restaurant at
about 4:20 PM Tuesday (February 13), police official said.

information officer PCInsp Helen L Galvez disclosed that the operation resulted
in the arrest of a wanted Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG) member identified as Rocco S
Haman aka Ruco Haman Isdad/ Hamador Hadjula,
38 years old, single, of Barangay Talon-Talon, Zamboanga City. Rocco Haman was
arrested by virtue of standing Warrant of Arrest for Kidnapping and Serious
Illegal Detention issued by Hon. Judge Leo Jay T. Principe of RTC Branch 1, 9th
Judicial Region, Isabela Basilan Province in connection with the Golden Harvest
Plantation Kidnapping Incident in Tairan, Lantawan, Basilan Province last June
11, 2001.
The
wanted ASG Member is presently detained at Zamboanga City Police Station 4 (Culianan)
for proper disposition, said PCInsp Galvez.
With
this, PCSUPT Billy B Beltran, Regional Director of Police Regional Office 9 lauded
the Zamboanga City Police Station 4 under the leadership of PCINSP Hazel
Fernandez for a job well- done.
