Kapistahan in Dapitan City celebrates “KINABAYO FESTIVAL”

DAPITAN CITY
(July 24, 2013) –Already passed 12:00 midnight but the people witnessing
the beauty search still jam-pack until the Coronation Night successfully ended,
some were on the city plaza together with their family and friends on standby
waiting for the results of the search.

5 Jet Nicole C. Inding who is representing the City Mayor’s Office was crowned
for Miss Dapitan 2013 last night at the Multi-purpose Cultural and Sports
Center while candidate # 11 Mary Grace A. Mueco representing Sardane
Construction was crowned for 1st Runner-Up as Miss Dapitan Tourism
2013 and for the 2nd Runner-Up for Miss Dapitan Heritage 2013 was
awarded to Marie Antonette A. Barrera who is representing Liga ng mga Barangay.

City Mayor Rosalina G. Jalosjos together with Vice Ruben E. Cad and Dakak
General Manager Ms. Rossini J. Montecalvo crowned Miss Dapitan 2013
Necole Inding who also gathered Special Award for Miss Congeniality and three
Corporate Awards for Ms. Virginia Foods Inc., Ms.Dapitan City Cable Television,
and Ms. Comm. Rural Bank of Dapitan City.

The 1st
Runner-Upcandidate #11 Grace Mueco and 2nd Runner-Upcandidate #3 Antonette
Barrera did not gather any wards but still confident and make their best to grab
the said title.

8 Gillie G. Galleposo representing Dapitan City Water District gathered all four
Minor Awards of Best in Production number, Best in Casual and Swim Wear and the
Best in Gown and one Corporate Award for Ms. Mennen’s Gift Mart.
Candidate
#9 got only the Photogenic Special Award and Ms. Nature’s Spring Corporate
Award while two Corporate Awards for Ms. MLhuillier and Ms. Aim Coop was acquired
by Candidate #2 Reah C. Aguilar representing the Vice Mayor’s Office.
