Kapistahan in Dapitan City celebrates “KINABAYO FESTIVAL”

DAPITAN CITY (July 23, 2013) – Tonight we will be expecting thousands of people will troop to Dapitan City Multi-Purpose Cultural and Sports Center to witness the Annual Search and Coronation Night for Miss Dapitan City 2013 that will start at 8:00 o’clock.

There are 11 candidates vying for Miss Dapitan City to replace 2012 Miss Dapitan Rosebell C. Bastasa. The beauty search is one the highlights of the annual festivity of the Shrine City, “The Kinabayo Festival” would attract not only local tourists from the neighboring cities and provinces but also from other countries

These are the beauties to be selected tonight; Chrislyn Joy C. Sacal, will represent the 1^st Congressional District Office of ZaNorte, Reah C. Aguilar representing City Vice Mayor’s Office and City Council of Dapitan, Marie Antonette A. Barrera represent Liga ng mga Barangay, Hanna Mei S. Hassan representing Parliament Bar, Jet Nicole C. Inding represent the City Mayor’s Office, Anna Grace R. Pitogo representing Sangguniang Kabataan (SK), Roxette B. Acevedo representing Gloria de Dapitan, representing Dapitan City Water District is Gillie G. Galleposo, to represent Dakak Park & Beach Resort is Mayra S. Ribo, while Svet Hanna R. Sinara is representing Shrine 7 Dance Crew and Mary Grace A. Mueco represent Sandane Construction.

Dapitan City Mayor Rosalina G. Jalosjos will give her message before the introduction of the candidates in their Casual Wear and Production Number.

The beauties will be showing also their Swimwear Attire, Evening Gown. Minor awards will be given for best in production number, best in casual wear, swim wear and gown.

"The proclamation of winners will start from the 2^nd Runner-Up as Miss Dapitan Heritage 2013 then for 1^st Runner-Up as Miss Dapitan City Tourism 2013 followed by the proclamation of Miss Dapitan 2013," City Tourism Officer Apple Marie Agolong said.
