PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (June 12,
2018) – Two were died in Motor Vehicular Traffic Accident transpired at the
National Highway of Purok 5, Barangay Kaangayan, Mahayag, Zamboanga del Sur
about Sunday at about 11:00am.
PO2 Ariel U. Saloma, investigator on
case disclosed that the accident involving two vehicles, motorcycle XRM 110 and
Isuzu Forward Truck bearing plate number GJM-367, loaded with sacks of rice
grain.
The motorcycle driven by Odjet T.
Mabisa, 22 years old, farmer with two back riders idemtified as Rebecca Gusi
Bilog, 19 years old and Daday Bilog, 18 years old, single, student, all were a
residents of Purok 5, Barangay La Fortuna, Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur. The
Isuzu Forward Truck driven by Romeo Nobleza Tizon, 49 years old, married a
resident of Barangay Culo, Molave, Zamboanga del Sur, PO2 Saloma said.
PO2 Saloma added that upon receipt of
said report, PNP elements of Mahayag Municipal Police Station (MPS) immediately
proceeded to the place of incident to verify the veracity of said report. Upon
arrival of the place of incident, the responding team saw two persons lying
lifeless at the place of incident bathed with their own blood.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that, at around 11:00 AM of same date, while the motorcycle with two
back riders traversing from Dumingag, heading to Molave, upon reaching at the
place of incident, the said motorcycle accidentally hit/bumped the back portion
of (multi-cab) who was in front of them in the same direction.
As a result, the motorcycle crashed
down while the said driver and back rider Rebecca Bilog fell on the opposite of
the road and both their heads were ran over by the approaching truck that was
also traversing on the opposite side of the road that led to their untimely
death, PO2 Saloma explained.
PO2 Saloma also said the other back
rider sustained injuries on the different parts of his body and was immediately
rushed to Mahayag Municipal Hospital.
The driver of the multi-cab also
brought the two dead bodies of driver and the back rider to the said hospital.
The driver and his driven vehicle of
said forward truck was brought to Mahayag MPS for proper disposition.
