ZAMBOANGA
CITY (June 19, 2018) – The joint
government successfully arrested PNP-SAF member and retired soldier during the
conduct of entrapment operation (Ammo Smuggling) at Sitio Flamingo Barangay
Upper Calarian of this city on June 16, 2018 at about 10:20 AM.
The joint operatives composed of CIDMB-SIU
of Zamboanga City Police Office, 44th MIG of ISAFP, 11 IB, 3rd
IB of Philippine Army and Intel Unit of Joint Task Force Zamboanga
The operating toops identified the
arrested suspect as SPO1 Alkalif Mohammad y Hawaji; members of 84th SAG
of the SAF and retired Technical Sergeant Ernesto Tio y Cañale (PA) recovered
during the operation 1 long magazine alloy loaded with 30 rounds green tip ammos
and 100 rounds of regular ammos of 5.56 Cal (M-16).
The operating troops recovered from the
suspect's possession the marked-money worth Php3,000 in Php1,000 bills
denomination
Suspects are now detained at ZCPO
