CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (June 12, 2018) –
The Combined elements of Tungawan Municipal Police Station together with the
elements of 6th Special Forces Battalion, Regional Special Operation
Group-9 and Zamboanga Sibugay Police Provincial Office conducted manhunt
operation against the Most Wanted Person in Tungawan municipality, Zamboanga
Sibugay province Monday at about 10:00pm, police report said.

CInsp. Helen Galvez disclosed that the joint operation was successfully
conducted resulted in the arrest of Jomar Bangi Aukasa, 28 years old, single,
farmer and a resident of Sitio CM, Barangay Timbabauan, Tungawan.
He was arrested by virtue of the
following Warrant of Arrest:
(1) Warrant of Arrest dated August 15,
2018, for the crime of Murder (3 counts) docketed under Criminal Number I-5296,
5297 and I-5298 issued by Hon. Josefino P. Bael, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th
Judicial Region, Branch 24, Ipil, with no bail recommended;
(2) Warrant of Arrest dated March 19,
2014, for the crime of Murder docketed under Criminal Number I-5203 issued by
Hon. Judge Anthony D. Isaw, Presiding Judge, RTC, 9th Judicial Region, Branch
24, Ipil with no bail recommended and
(3) Warrant of Arrest dated March 19,
2014, for the crime of Murder docketed under Criminal Number I-5298 also issued
by Hon. Judge Anthony D. Isaw, with no bail recommended, she said.
The arrested person was brought to
Tungawan MPS for proper disposition.
