Police manhunt suspect for chopping his victim into pieces in San Pablo

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (Aug. 31, 2014-MPF News) --- The elements of San Pablo Municipal Police Station are now conducting a manhunt operations against the suspect of hacking and chopping his victim into pieces at Barangay Sacbulan, in the nearby municipality of San Pablo, Zamboanga del Sur.

San Pablo Municipal Station Chief Senior Inspector Edgar R. Hinoctan said the suspect is identified as Lorenzo Biñan Jr @ Junjun also a resident of said place is now at large after committing the crime.

The victim identified as Rodelio Copio Y Malongo, 27, single, also a resident of said place. He was hacked and chopped into pieces with the use of a bladed weapon by suspect, San Pablo Municipal Station Chief said.

In the initial investigation disclosed that the victim was at the house of Lorenzo Biñan and Jerame Biñan at about 9:00 PM of August 29, 2014 to take a rest before the incident took place. However, the family of the victim was worried when he did not return home on the following day.

The family of the victim decided to look for him and at around 10:00 AM of August 30, 2014, they found the dead body of victim in the bushy area about 100 meters away from the resident of Lorenzo Biñan.

The San Pablo Police Station is now conducting thorough investigation and conducting a manhunt operation for the immediate arrest of the suspect.
