PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (May 2, 2018) –
A 41-year-old Father sexually molested his 13 year old biological daughter was
arrested by the responding policemen in the municipality of Lakewood in this
province Tuesday at about 2:00pm.
Lakewood Municipal Police Station Chief Senior
Inspector Avelmar Renan U. Garambas identified the suspect as Rolando Umban
Lumampad, 41 years old, married and resident of Purok 6, Barangay Kahayag in
the said municipality.
PSInsp. Garambas said the responding police
conducted immediately police operation and successfully arrested the suspect after
his daughter personally reported the incident at the police station yesterday
at about 10:00am.
In the initial investigation conducted disclosed
that allegedly the suspect sexually molested the victim on April 30, 2018 around
9:00pm inside the house of the suspect of said place, PSInsp. Garambas added.
The suspect is now temporary detained at
Lakewood MPS while appropriate case for rape in relation to RA 7610 is now
being prepared for filing in court.
