PAGADIAN CITY Zamboanga del Sur,( May 6, 2018) – A municipal councilor was survived in ambushed Sunday at
2:20pm in Purok 1 Barangay Codilog, Dimataling of this province.
Case Investigator PO1 Iresidel O. Osayan
identified the victim as Evrin Dres, 37 years old, married, Municipal Councilor
of Dimataling member of Peace and Order and Committee on Anti–Drugs and a
resident of Sitio Tuka Purok 3, Poblacion of the said town.
Initial investigation conducted by Dimataling Municipal
Police Station disclosed that victim was driving his Navara 4x4 from Sittio
Tuka Purok 3, Poblacion of the said twon going to His Rice Mill situated at
Barangay Kagawasan, Dimataling when he notice he was fired upon that force him
to drive fast and luckily he was unharmed.
The suspects fled towards barangay Poblacion
Dimataling after the commission of the crime.
Responding team of Dimataling MPS conducted hot
pursuit operation against the fleeing suspect but yielded to negative result.
Motive of the incident believed to be personal
grudge.
