Security Guard shot by riding in tandem in Pagadian City

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (May 22, 2018) – A Security Guard at the same time a Barangay Tanud is now in a critical condition at the hospital after he was shot by the riding in tandem while riding his motorcycle together with his daughter Monday at 6:00pm, Police Official said.

The operatives of Pagadian City Police Station is now conducting a thorough investigation to identify the suspects and to determine the motive of the shooting incident transpired at Purok Sili, Barangay Kahayagan of this city.

PO1 Rolito O Sinajon Jr., case investigator identify the victim as Joseph Diano Ramirez Sr. 46 y/o, married, Security Guard of Gamalinda Funeral Homes of this city, a resident of Purok Daraanm Brgy. Gubang this city.

Initial investigation disclosed that the victim was traversing the barangay road of Kahayagan from Barangay Gubang on board his Single motorcycle Honda Wave 100,  Upon reaching Purok Sili, Barangay Kahayagan he was tailed by two unidentified persons on board on motorcycle Black Honda XRM without plate number, suddenly the back-rider shot the victim several times.

Victim sustained gunshot wounds on different part of his body and was rushed to Zamboanga Del Sur Medical Center by concerned citizens for medical treatment and luckily his daughter unharmed, PO1 Sinajon said.

Suspects fled towards the direction of Barangay Danlugan, Pagadian City, recovered from the crime scene two (2) empty shells of cal. 45.
