ZAMBOANGA CITY (March 03, 2018) - Government forces nabbed a member of a lawless group
and a drug suspect in two separate law enforcement operations in Lanao del Norte
and Sultan Kudarat, military official said.
Western Mindanao Command
(WestMinCom) Cpt Jo-Ann D. Petinglay disclosed that operatives of the Joint Task Force ZamPeLan and the
police served the arrest warrant on Roger Sagarino by virtue, in Barangay
Raw-an, Lala, Lanaodel Norte at 11:45AM, Thursday (March 1). Tagged in robbery,
cases, Raw-an is a notorious LLE member and gun for hire who uses and peddles
illegal drugs. He and his brother, Charly Sagarino, Sr., are associated with
the Kuratong Baleleng Gang of Ozamiz City. His brother is currently detained at
the Municipal Jail of Dumingag, Zamboanga del Sur.

Murillo, Commander of the Joint Task Force ZamPeLan, said that Raw-an is
associated with the Labang group, particularly Mariano Labang, who was slain in
a police operation; Tatong Labang, who is at large for being the principal
suspect in the killing of Barangay Lipawan Kagawad Edgar Paculaba; and Boboy Labang,
who is also at large after being impleaded in cases of killings.
Raw-an was subsequently
brought to Lala Municipal Police Station for documentation.
Cpt Petinglay also said
that in a joint operation, Rolly Ali and Jomar Ali were arrested by government
forces in Barangay Crossing Simuay, Sultan Kudarat at 8:20pm of February 28 (Wednesday).
Cpt Petinglay further said
that seized from them were 14 sachets of suspect shabu that are currently in
the custody of Sultan Kudarat Municipal Police Station. Said operation was
launched by the 603rd Brigade of the Joint Task Force Central, the Sultan
Kudarat Municipal Police Station, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement
Agency-Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao to implement a pre-operation
against suspected drug personalities in the area.
Rolly Ali, 28, is a
resident of Barangay Crossing Simuay, while Jomar Ali, 19, is a resident of
Barangay Darapanan, both in Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao. The arrested persons
were also brought to Sultan Kudarat MPS for legal procedures.
“Law enforcement support
operations will continuously be launched to support the nationwide campaign of
the government against lawless violence and illegal drug activities in the
joint area of operations,”said Lieutenant General Carlito G. Galvez, Jr., Commander
of the Western Mindanao Command.
“I would like to commend
our Joint Task Forces for these accomplishments.”
