ZAMBOANGA
CITY – Two Hundred Forty Six (246) newly
promoted uniformed police personnel of Police Regional Office 9 (PRO9), PNP-SAF
and Regional Support Units (RSU) took their oath before their love ones during
the traditional flag raising ceremony held at the Police Regional Office
Quadrangle, Camp Col Romeo A Abendan, Mercedes, Zamboanga City on August 20,
2018.
Police Chief Superintendent Billy B
Beltran, Regional Director of PRO9, administered the simultaneous mass
oath-taking and donning of ranks of the 130 newly-promoted police personnel
assigned at PRO9 9 and 116 PNP personnel assigned at the Regional Supports Unit
and PNP SAF.
PCSUPT Beltran, in his message, extends
his congratulation messages to the newly promoted PNP uniformed personnel and
their respective families.
A simultaneous mass oath-taking and
donning of rank was also conducted at the Zamboanga Sibugay PPO, Zamboanga Del
Sur PPO, Zamboanga del Norte PPO, Zamboanga City Police Office and Isabela City
Police Station.
This summed up to a 669 total strength
of newly promoted police officers in PRO9 comprising of 41 Police Commissioned
Officers and 628 Police Non-Commissioned Officers, respectively. The promotion
of PNP unformed personnel of PRO9 and NSU completes the 1st semester regular
promotion program for the calendar year 2018. (PRO9 PIO)
