IPIL, Zamboanga Sibugay (March 15,
2019) - Three
suspected drug personalities were arrested while about 1.5 kilos of shabu with
an estimated street value of P10.2 million and several assorted high caliber
assault firearms and ammunition seized during the simultaneous law enforcement
operation carried out by combined operatives of Intel Branch and Drugs
Enforcement Unit of Zamboanga Sibugay Provincial Police Office; Zamboanga
Sibugay Provincial Mobile Company; Ipil Municipal Police Station, Naga
Municipal Police Station, Regional Intelligence Division 9, RMFB9,
CIDG-Zamboanga Sibugay, PDEA9 and AFP Counterparts at Barangay Tenan, Ipil, Zamboanga
Sibugay at about 1:00pm of March 13, 2019, police official disclosed.
Police
Brigadier General Emmanuel Luis D Licup, PRO9 Regional Director identified the
arrested suspects as Ben Hazer Anduhol, 25 years old, male, married, of Purok
Marang, Barangay Tenan, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay; Nicanel Maningo, 31 years old,
male, married, and a resident of Purok Saging, Barangay Tenan, Ipil, Zamboanga
Sibugay and Benjamin Calon Hassan a.k.a Solaiman Calon, 25 years old, married,
of Purok Marang, Barangay Tenan, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.
Confiscated
during the operations were about 1.5 kilos of shabu with an estimated street
value of P10.2 million; 1 unit M16 Rifle; 1 unit cal. 45; 1 unit Cal .40mm
Taurus; several ammunitions and other drug paraphernalia.
The arrested
suspects and the recovered evidence were brought to the Zamboanga Sibugay Police
Provincial Office in Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Gen. Emmanuel Luis D. Licup commended the operating police units Zamboanga
Sibugay PPO headed by its Provincial Director Police Colonel Jerry V Protacio,
PDEA9 and AFP counterparts for a job well done.
Licup said
they have intensified their campaign against drugs dealers in the region as
