In his message during the ceremony held at the Command Headquarters Lobby, WestMinCom Commander Lt. Gen. Corleto Vinluan, Jr. extended his felicitations to Ms. Felicitas Billones, Midwife I for her more than 44 years of dedicated and faithful service to the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
“We wish you the best of luck as you leave the institution for good. Your retirement only signifies the start of another chapter in your life. Always remember that the WestMinCom and the Armed Forces are proud of you,” said Lt. Gen. Vinluan, Jr.A Plaque of Appreciation was conferred to Ms. Billones for her significant contribution and committed service rendered to the command.During her employment at Camp Navarro General Hospital, Ms. Billones provided advice, care, and support to the military personnel and their dependents. She also assisted the nurses in taking vital signs and monitoring the conditions of the patients.
In her valedictory address, Ms. Billones expressed her gratitude to the men and women of the Western Mindanao Command, and to the past and present commanders who made her career life meaningful and memorable.
“I’m so thankful for having been given the opportunity when I was just 21 years old to join this dedicated, selfless, devoted, and highly-respected Armed Forces of the Philippines,” said Ms. Billones.“Thank you for believing in me and for trusting me.
