PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur
(April 15, 2018) – One died and 11 others were wounded in vehicular accident
along the national highway of Barangay Poblacion Bajo, Sergio Osmena in the neighboring
province of Zamboanga del Norte on Saturday at 5:20pm Police Official
disclosed.

Elbert Castillon C in the initial police investigation said, a drop side
utility vehicle color white with red combination bearing plate number JCU 866
driven by Abelardo Corita Duran, 43 years old, married, and a resident of Barangay
Domagoc, Pagadian City. The vewhicle loaded with passengers while travelling
from Butanas Swimming Pool located at Brgy. Sinai, Sergio Osmeña, Zamboanga del
Norte going back to Pagadian City,
Zamboanga Del Sur.
Upon reaching at the curve portion
of the national highway of Brgy. Poblacion Bajo Sergio Osmena, the driver
accidentally bumped unto the side railings/barrier of the road that resulted
the vehicle overturned and fall at the cliff area, Police Investigator added.
The driver and eleven (11)
passengers suffered injuries on the different parts of their bodies and was
immediately brought to Sergio Osmena Municipal Hospital for immediate
medication while the attending physician pronounced Cesar Uno dead on arrival,
PO2 Taata also said. The said vehicle was still at the accident area.
