Abduction occured in Zamboanga Sibugay

ZAMBOANGA CITY (April 4, 2018) - An abduction incident transpired at Purok Maabiabihon, Poblacion, Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay at about 6:30 PM of Tuesday (April 3), official said.

The victim was identified as Laarni Bandi, 38 years old, female, married, working as secretary of Cebeles Marine Product, resident of Talusan, Zamboanga Sibugay. She was allegedly abducted by seven (7) unidentified armed men group at Purok Maabiabihon, Poblacion Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay.

SPO1 Rey Saagundo Danago, upon initial investigation conducted, disclosed that at about 6:30 PM of same date the victim was at the boarding house owned by Mrs. Adilaida bayno of the above mentioned place when suddenly seven (7) unidentified armed men forcibly dragged and abducted her. Abductors together with the victim allegedly fled towards Muyong Island, Malangas, Zamboanga Sibugay using (bote type) motorized pump boat color yellow.

Elements of Zamboanga Sibugay Mobile Force Company, 44th Infantry Battalion 9, Phil Army, Maritime, Coastguard, Navy and Regional Mobile Force Company 9 now conducted hot pursuit operation while inland MPS conducted patrolling and checkpoint operation for the possible apprehension of the abductors and recovery of the victim.
