100% ready for Barangay and SK Polls: Maguing Election Officer

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (April 12, 2018) – Election Officer Rosalma Omar Langi of Maguing Lanao del Sur was in massive preparation for the Barangay and SK Election this coming May 14, 2018.

"We are in massive preparation and we are 100% ready for the upcoming Barangay and SK election after it was 2 times cancel by the President," Mrs. Omar Langi said in an exclusive interview.

Maguing Mayor Mamaulan Molok said that the Local Government Unit (LGU) and Barangay officials with close coordination of Philippine National Police and Army’s 63^rd Infantry Battalion was in massive campaign for safe, clean and honest Barangay and SK Election. "We hope and pray that we have a peaceful Barangay and SK election this May." the Mayor said.

Last month some residents of Maguing turn over 34 loose firearms to 63^rd  IB and PNP through the effort of the LGU lead by its Mayor Mamaulan Molok as a result of loose firearms campaign of the government.

The Mayor also received a Plaque of Appreciation from the said Army Battalion for helping them on their campaign against loose firearms. “The Mayor was very helpful in campaign of loose firearms and other criminality of this Municipality and also the Barangay Chairman," said Police Senior Inspector Manalumpong the Chief of Police of Maguing Lanao del Sur.
