Minor in critical after being held-up and shot in Pagadian City

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (April 19, 2018) – A 17 years old boy is now in critical condition at the Hospital after being held-up, took their cellphone and shot twice on his head by the riding in tandem
Wednesday at 2:40am in front of Gate 10, Agora, Barangay San Lucia this city, Police Official said.

Case Investigator PO2 Rowena T. Fellogan identified the victim as Kashmer Dapulan Bayan, 17 years old, male, single and resident of Barangay Lower Campo Islam, Labangan of this Province.

Initial Investigation disclosed that the victim together with his friends identified as Aron Toncayo Salilauna, Raffy Ambulinog Bagoa were onboard on their friends tricycle with cab no. 193 owned and driven by Ahmad Siddique Dapulan Ponga when after playing internet games at level 21 internet café located at Barangay Lubmia in this city. The said driver decided to gas up his tricycle at Petron gasoline Station in Barangay Sta. Lucia and unknowingly two motor riding suspects were following them. Upon reaching at the place of incident, the suspects blocked their way and the back rider wearing a face masked immediately disembarked and at gunpoint demanded their cell phones

After they took their cellular phones, one of the suspects shot them twice hitting on the victim’s head. Right after the incident, suspects fled towards Dablo Street while victim was rushed to Pagadian City Medical Center for immediate medical treatment, investigation added.

The elements of Pagadian City Police Station conducted hot pursuit operation but yielded negative result. The most possible motive of the incident was robbery, investigation said.

Personnel from Pagadian CPS are now conducting follow-up investigation for the possible identification and apprehension of the motor riding suspects.
