PAGADIAN
CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (May 1, 2018) – Thousands of job applicants troops to
the Covered Court, Plaza Luz in this city for the whole day Job and Livelihood
Fair (Trabaho, Negosyo at Kabuhayan) 2018 today.
The
Local Government of Pagadian City and the Province of Zamboanga del Sur
together with the National Government Agencies jointly conducted the Job and
Livelihood Fair 2018 following the Labor Day celebration.
The
Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) invited at least 100 different
agencies for the job vacancies while the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)
led the conduct of training for livelihood and how to avail business capital.
The
Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) will provide on
the spot training and enrollment for those interested to avail technical
courses, the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) will facilitate the applicant.
Camilo
Encila Jr, Officer in-charge DOLE-Zamboanga del Sur provincial office said that
3,228 job vacancies available for local and overseas employments and 20 percent
of the job seekers will be hired immediately today.
