PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur, May 3 (PNA) -- The number of contestants in the search for Miss Pagadian City 2014 has reached a total of 32 after 20 aspirants have qualified during the second screening Thursday.
The other 12 have
qualified in the first screening held last week by the Charter Day Celebration
Steering Committee chaired by Vice-Mayor Divina Grace Yu.
The Miss Pagadian
City 2014 is set to be held on June 21 in line with this city’s 45th Charter
Day Celebration.
Yu said they will
conduct final screening to determine who will comprise the 20 candidates that
would vie for the Miss Pagadian 2014.
The qualifications
are the following: the contestants must be 18 to 24 years old; 5’4’ in height;
at least six months residents of this city; and, with good moral character.
The beauty pageant is
one of the activities in the week-long celebration of this city’s 45th founding
anniversary.
The celebration kicks
off June 12 and will culminate June 21.(PNA)
