PAGADIAN
CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (March 2, 2017) - The Professional Regulation Commission will soon transfer at the Pagadian City LGU-owned
Mall known as City Commercial Center or C3 Mall.
Press
Bureau Officer Leah Agonoy said that City Mayor Romeo Tata Pulmones recently
announced in an interview at Pakisayod sa Zamboanga del Sur after series of
complaints were aired over radio stations in the locality lately including the direct
exposure of the applicants under the heat of the sun, falling in line by the
roadside, among many others.
He
also added that even the City Government had problems with road traffic and
garbage in the current PRC location.
Agonoy
said to solve the problem, the City Government had through Mayor Pulmones had a
deal with the PRC for them to rent a space and transfer at the City Commercial
Center.
They
will be able to comfortably accommodate applicants with the spacious area,
Mayor Pulmones said, adding that the City Government provided funds for the
renovation and development of their office at the said mall. “All they have to
do is occupy the space and pay for the rentals.”
With
this, the applicants --not only Pagadianons but also to include those who
travelled from other provinces -- would no longer struggle under the heat of
the sun and even under the rain while waiting for their turn to be accommodated
by the PRC, Mayor Pulmones added.
