PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (May 4, 2018) – A person was shot to death while inside his house Thursday at about 5:00pm at Purok 4, Barangay Paradise in the municipality of Ramon Magsaysay of this province.
Case Investigator PO1 Rogelio S. Awa Jr.
identified the victim as Michael Maglasang Ortiz, 58 years old, male, married,
farmer. Unidentified persons on board on a XRM 125 color red combination shot
him.
As a result, the victim sustained two GSW at his
head resulted to his sudden death. Recovered at the crime scene three empty
shells of Caliber .45 pistol, Case Investigator said.
Initial investigation conducted disclosed that
while the victim was washing their dirty garments at the side of their house,
suspect entered inside their house and shot the victim several times and
immediately fled towards the direction of Molave, Zamboanga del Sur.
PNP personnel of Ramon Magsaysay MPS conducted follow up investigation to determine the motive and possible arrest of the suspect.
