Pagadian City inmates get hygiene stuffs

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga del Sur, Jan. 30 (PNA) -- The local government has provided hygiene stuffs to the more than 400 inmates at the local detention facility here.

Senior Insp. Nathaniel Aljas, jail warden, said Friday that Mayor Romeo Pulmones personally distributed the hygiene stuffs during the latter’s visit Wednesday afternoon.

Aljas said Pulmones’ visit was aimed to see the condition of the detention facility since the local government had been providing assistance to them.

Aljas said among the facility provided them by the city government is a visitor’s lounge for the convenience of families visiting their detained family member.

Meanwhile, Aljas assured Pulmones that the local detention facility is well secured. (PNA)
