Pagadian City(April 9)—Marawi City Mayor Sultan Fahad Pre Salic and his lone bodyguard at the same time a driver Rayrudim Bunting were survived in ambush Saturday AT 2:00 AM in Cagayan de Oro City.

Mayor Salic who is running for Governor in the province of Lanao del Sur while riding on his car apan reaching along Mastersons Avenue just beside Pryce Plaza Hotel  they were ambush by more or less 7 still unidentified arm men on board a white van.

Police initial investigation said Mayor Salic sustained injuries at his buttocks, right leg and upper back, while Bunting sustained injury at his face and where immediately brought to nearby Polymedic Hospital for medical treatment.

The crime scene is now being process by the Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) for further investigation and the possible arrest of the suspects whom accordingly fled to toward west direction after the commission of the crime.

Mayor Salic was a former husband of actress Alma Moreno who is aspirant for Senator, they were separated in 2014 after his married in 2009. (with reports from Ferds Libor)
