DINAS, ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR – The Municipal incumbent Mayor Basilio “Eking” Vidad is very much confident that their Team will win this coming election on May next year after they files their Certificate of Candidacy in the Municipal COMELEC Office in Dinas together with his group from the Sangguniang Bayan on October 4, 2012 under the line-up of Dominador "Jun" Jalosjos for Governor.

supporters," he added.

“Under my leadership we
were able to maintain the peace and order condition of Dinas especially the
Rido problem from our Muslim and Christian brothers,” Mayor Eking Vidad told
Frontline news.
The Mayor also said, he
has a lot of accomplishment regarding the implementation of projects and the most
important of all is the financial status of the municipality of Dinas for
obtaining a surplus of more than P3 million pesos during his incumbency. “Not like
Wilfredo Asoy as Mayor of the Dinas before he became a Board Member he has a
deficit of more or less P8 million pesos,” Vidad disclosed.
It was learned that Board Member Asoy has a pending case in the Office of the Ombudsman regarding his UN-explained deficit.
