PAGADIAN CITY, Zaamboanga del Sur (AFP News,
July 19, 2018) –
In a follow-up reports, seven were confirmed
dead while sixty-fiur passengers were injured Wednesday 11:15am after the
passenger jeep lose its break upon reaching at Purok Pataag, Barangay Dao in
this city.
Investigator
on Case PO2 Rolly Laurente disclosed that the passenger jeep with attached plate number JVH 576 driven by
Warlito Padaran from Barangay Cogonan, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur bound to
Pagadian City proper upon reaching at Purok Bahada, Barangay Dao, Pagadian
City, the said vehicle lose its break and bumped the opposing vehicle
Mitsubishi Adventure with attached plate number LMB976 owned by Porferio F.
Sarabia and subsequently bumped another vehicle ahead Ford Eco sport with
attached plate number COJ711 driven by Marlon Ochea Tejano before it over turn
until stop at the road side.
Seven
victims who are initially reported Dead on Arrival at the hospital identified
as follows:
1.
Tato Guinican – 15 years old, male, single
2.
Julieto O.Guinican – 50 years old, male, married
3.
Ernesto C. Guinican- 48 year’s old, male, married
4.
Mary Joy O. Guilingan – 42 years old, female, married
5.
Pecay Florencio Jr. – 38 years old, male, married
6.
Linda Bawan – 65 years old, female, married
7.
Angelo Macatulad – 13 years old, male, single
All
victims were residents of Barangay Cogonan, Labangan of this province and Sixty
Four Injured victims admitted at different Hospitals in this cirty. Most of the
victims were members of the 4P’s beneficiary to be schedule their pay out today
(July 19, 2018), PO2 Laurente said.
The
operator of the said passenger vehicle was identified as Milchor Anlimon,
Barangay Cogonan, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur.
The
Driver of said passenger jeep was arrested and admitted at Mendero Hospital for
medication.
