Top 2 Most Wanted in Midsalip, ZamboSur, Arrested

PAGADIAN CITY, Zamboanga Del Sur (July 9, 2018) – The combined police operatives successfully arrested the Top 2 Most Wanted Person during the conduct of Intel driven police operation against wanted person at Purok 5, Barangay Golictop, Midsalip, Zamboanga Del Sur at around 4:00 PM of July 7, 2018, Police Official said.

Police Regional Office-9 (PRO-9) PIO Chief CINSP Helen L. Galvez disclosed that the combined operatives were composed from the Midsalip Municipal Police Station (MPS), PRO9 Task Force Tugis, Regional Intelligence Division 9, Regional Intelligence Unit 9, 902nd Mobile Company of RMFB9 and Zamboanga Del Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company conducted an intel driven police operation against wanted person.

CINSP Galvez identified the arrested wanted person as Lito Maglasang y Cayman 39 years old, married, farmer and Top 2 Most Wanted Person in Municipal level, and a resident of Barangay Dalawon Molave of this province.

The suspect was arrested by virtue of Warrant of Arrest for the crime of Murder under Criminal Case No. 03-10,347 dated August 12, 2004 issued and signed by Hon. Loreto C. Quinto, Presiding Judge of 9th Judicial Region Branch 30 of Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur with No Bail Bond recommended for his temporary liberty, CINSP Galvez said.

Upon the arrest of the accused, he was informed of his Constitutional Rights as embodied under the Philippine Constitution and immediately was brought by the arresting officers to Midsalip MPS for proper disposition, PRO-9 PIO Chief also said.
