Police identified the arrested person
as one Abdulsalim Modapil Mangungaya aka “Dondon Sanday/ Duterte (Top 2 HVT of
Margosatubig), male, 36 years old, married, born on March 26, 1982, jobless,
elementary level and a resident of Sitio, Luguimit, Barangay Poblacion,
Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur.
He was also arrested by virtue of
warrant of arrest for the crime of Murder under criminal case no. 17-161 issued
by Presiding Judge Ruben N. Bance of RTC Branch 29, San Miguel Zamboanga Del
Sur, with no bail recommended. Said person is a member of Drug Group “Pating”,
a drug group operating in the province.
Confiscated from the suspect were one
pc Heat sealed plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to
be shabu (buy-bust), eight pcs heat sealed sachet containing white crystalline
substance believe to be shabu (possession) and a Five Hundred Pesos Bill
(P500.00) used as buy-bust money with serial no. DS805227.
Arrested person and evidences recovered
were now under the custody of Margosatubig MPS while case for Violation of Sec.
5 and 11 of R.A. 9165 is being prepared for filing in court.
