CITY, Zamboanga del Sur (July 18, 2018) –
Six unidentified armed men abducted the businessman at about 8:35 PM of July
15, 2018 while the victim was inside his residence at Purok-3, Brgy. Nazareth,
Kabasalan Zamboanga Sibugay province.
The victim was identified as Alejadro
“Alex” Calunod Bation, 58 years old, married, businessman, resident of
afore-mentioned place.
Initial investigation conducted
disclosed that at about 8:30 PM of same date the victim was inside his house
watching TV together with Elizar Mamuag Dumadag, 31 years old, single, also a
resident of said barangay, his helper/laborer in their fishpond and two sons
namely: Albert Bation and Jessie Roy Bation together with his girlfriend
identified as Cerly Honghong who was taking dinner at the Kitchen.
Suddenly six unidentified men armed
with long and short firearms wearing Military and Police uniform entered the
premises and two of them went inside the house and pointed their gun. They drag
the victim going outside the house towards the mini wharf of said barangay and
boarded to one of the three motorized pump boat (Bote) Color white, blue and
yellow.
The armed men fled towards the coastal
waters of Naga and Payao municipality.
Elements of Kabasalan MPS immediately
informed the nearest Police Stations and military counterparts and other
friendly forces based in Zamboanga Sibugay regarding the incident and conducted
hot pursuit operation.
