PAGADIAN
CITY, Zamboanga del Sur, July 29 (PNA) – The Department of Interior and Local
Government (DILG) has released an initial amount of PhP10 million for the
expansion, rehabilitation, and upgrading of the water system of the nearby
Dumalinao town, this province.

Regional Director Paisal Abutazil said the fund is part of the PhP12.5 million
allocated through the Bottom-Up Budget (BUB) for the project which will be
released in two tranches.
Abutazil
said the second tranche amounting to PhP2.5 million will be released in
September, this year.
Dumalinao
Mayor Ace William Cerilles told the Philippines News Agency the allocation will
be used for the expansion, upgrading and rehabilitation of Water System level
III in four of the 30 barangays in his town.
The
beneficiary barangays are Pag-asa, Paglaum, Sumadat and Camanga. (PNA)
